KulturSommer and Lessing Festival with e-publisher:stage - our theatre CMS makes a grand entrance

"Why go far afield when cultural diversity can be experienced right on your own doorstep?" Under this unofficial motto, the Lessingtheater Wolfenbüttel once again invited visitors to the KulturSommer Wolfenbüttel in 2019. In addition to theatre productions against the picturesque backdrop of the castle courtyard, the theatre festival also offers numerous concerts by international artists on the forecourt of the Lessingtheater.

The e-publisher:stage as a digital stage

With our tried-and-tested content management system e-publisher:stage, we provided the technical framework for the KulturSommer Wolfenbüttel website. The e-publisher, which has been used successfully for years by the Deutsche Symphonie Orchester and the Frankfurt Opera, among others, has now successfully established itself in the theatre world. The advantages: The handling for editors is self-explanatory, practical and intuitive. Customers' conceptual requirements can be implemented without any problems. For example, the easy-to-use repertoire database with its numerous links is perfectly tailored to the requirements of theatre operations.

The digital programme for the perfect start to the cultural summer

The e-publisher:stage was also used for the 2018 Lessing Festival (#lessing18) at the Wolfenbüttel Theatre, a three-week festival full of drama, dance and concert experiences. We also provided support for the front and back end here. The concept and design of the website https://lessingfestival.de was inspired by the festival's namesake, Gotthold Ephraim Lessing, writer and philosopher of the Enlightenment. The focus is on clear structures and a simple, well thought-out design that leads users directly and without detours to the Lessing Festival programme - and thus to a relaxed, culturally rich summer.
