Leibniz Information Centre for Life Sciences

With a collection of over 1.6 million volumes, the German National Library of Medicine (ZB MED) - Information Centre for Life Sciences has the world's largest library in its subject combination. The centre focuses on medicine, healthcare, nutritional, environmental and agricultural sciences. In addition to its function as a traditional library, the centre is developing into a service provider for science and research. A relaunch was necessary for the strategic reorientation, in the course of which we revised the concept and design and adapted the TYPO3 programming. With the new website, the ZB MED now presents itself in technical perfection and as a central service centre in the life sciences.
