Using AI for tomorrow today: Qurator Conference

Curation technologies: concrete answers to key challenges
In various sessions at the conference , the Qurator partners and international experts will address the question of how the increasing flood of digital information can be managed with the help of curation technologies: Where can artificial intelligence improve and accelerate information processing and knowledge management processes? How can illegal content in social media content be recognised using AI? What digital meeting spaces are opening up for the cultural sector? And what solutions are available for the healthcare sector - especially now during the pandemic?
So it's all about AI-based curation technologies that support people (in their work) and are trustworthy and reliable. "The more the machine understands people, the more people need to understand the machine. They must emancipate themselves. Artificial intelligence will fundamentally change our relationship to our material environment," says CEO and Qurator alliance spokesperson Armin Berger, who opens the conference in the opening session.
Off to the digital museum!
Together with ART+COM and beier+wellach projekte, 3pc is taking part in another session that is specifically aimed at cultural institutions and opens up new perspectives for digital meeting spaces, especially for museums.
In our virtual workshop, we will approach the idea of a "unified user experience" from different perspectives and examine which factors are decisive for its conception and implementation.
We will focus on the following topics:
- Concepts for blending spatial presence with virtual mediation and interaction, particularly with regard to the quality of experience
- Storytelling at the interface of curation and digital communication
- Personalised visitor experiences
- Digital museum mindset
