A good story can be compared to a successful road trip. It starts with a predefined starting and ending point, but it is the turn-offs, side roads and detours that make it exciting and offer room for exploration and good storytelling.
Stories that want to be told
The art of storytelling is as old as mankind itself. In the midst of an exponentially increasing supply of content, however, even in times of digitalisation, it is outstanding stories that touch and remain in the memory. They visualise content, encourage people to engage with topics and facts and convey messages.
Today, "storytelling" is used in almost every discipline. The more inflationary the term is used, the more blurred it becomes. It used to be about conveying information through narratives, supported by facial expressions, scenic presentation and background music. Today, digitalisation offers us numerous possibilities: images, text, video, animation - there are no longer any limits to imagination and creativity thanks to digital media.
Storytelling is not only suitable for brand and corporate communication. It is also an ideal format for cultural and political institutions to present their own content, as there are stories that should be experienced as much as possible.
Brand and corporate communication can be redefined in a unique way with the help of storytelling. The concept and dramaturgy are crucial here: How do you identify narratives and build a suspenseful arc? Are there protagonists who generate identification? Which content formats and functions are required? How are navigation and interactivity designed so that users have the most intuitive and lively experience possible?

Storytelling made easy
Our goal is to simplify work processes so that editors can create and tell exciting stories without much extra effort. Based on many years of project experience and current research results from artificial intelligence, we have developed a software tool that makes storytelling easy with the help of an intelligent recommendation system: the 3pc story editor. The tool guides editors through the entire editorial process - from research to story creation - using innovative semantic methods: extraction of lexical information, automated clustering, entity linking and sentiment analysis.
