Roadshow for green energy: "Hydrogen Investors Tour"

Green hydrogen instead of coal: this is the German government's vision for the future of Germany's former coal-mining regions. This is why GTAI (Germany Trade and Invest), the economic development agency of the Federal Republic of Germany, has been recruiting investors internationally for the three largest regions affected by structural change - Lusatia, Central Germany and the Rhineland coalfields. Together with 3pc, the GTAI broke new ground: a "digital roadshow" reached over 500 participants from more than 40 countries.

Live from the coal mine
Together with the hydrogen experts from Hydrogen Moves, 3pc organised the "Hydrogen Investors Tour" for the GTAI: a high-level virtual presentation of the three regions, broadcast in TV quality from three on-site studios - one of them in a disused coal mine - and a central capital city studio in Berlin.
Two time-delayed run-of-shows were organised to appeal to potential investors from both the Asian and American markets.
From location check to evaluation: the 3pc complete package
At the centre of the overall production was the creation of an event platform and landing page as well as the conception and implementation of the livestream production and associated breakout sessions.
But 3pc was also responsible for the preparation and follow-up of the event: from the location check and invitation management to the set design of the four interacting locations, our specialist teams worked hand in hand. This also included the design of graphics and branding, the conception and pre-production of animated inserts and interviews and directing the entire show. For the evaluation of the live event, 3pc was responsible for documentation, media monitoring, statistics and analysis.

Proud of the first roadshow
Originally conceived as a cluster of individual stations from the participating areas, 3pc took over the overall technical direction and brought the events together to create one big event.
Despite the tight schedule and new concept for the overall event, this was made possible thanks to maximum flexibility at all levels right up to the actual day of the event. The agile co-operation of more than 100 project participants resulted in a high-quality production that also impressed the GTAI:
"GTAI is very proud to have hosted its first ever Virtual Hydrogen Inverstors Tour! Four live studios, three regions transitioning from coal production to clean hydrogen production, two individual events and a live stream!"

Many thanks to our partners plazz AG for the mobile event app and Telekollegen for the technical production.
