Campaign design for the 2025/2026 DSO season

In the second year of our creative collaboration, the DSO's 2025/2026 season campaign tells the stories behind the diversity of DSO concerts at the Philharmonie Berlin - uniquely captured and translated into illustrations by Sarah Böttcher.

As a defining voice in the international orchestral landscape, the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin is also setting new accents in the 2025/2026 season. The illustrations designed by Sarah Böttcher and the hand-drawn DSO pattern reflect the progressive aspirations as well as the diversity of the audience, orchestra and programme.
Under the motto 'Afrodiaspora - Composing While Black', the DSO, in collaboration with the Haus der Kulturen der Welt (HKW), is also dedicating itself to black composers from four centuries who deserve their place in the classical repertoire.

Visual development with a hand-drawn identity
At the beginning of the co-creative development process, one thing was clear: the design system adapted for the 2024/2025 pre-season was to be retained at its core, but reinterpreted in certain areas. The central element remains the DSO logo wallpaper, which is now hand-drawn and acts as a link to previous seasons.
This unmistakable, contemporary signature in combination with clear contrasts and the expressive illustration runs through all products: From the central product of the season brochure to subscription and image poster campaigns to applications on social media and the website.
