Big appearance for a big player

EUROVIA Deutschland builds transport routes and municipal infrastructure throughout Germany and is one of the largest construction companies in the country.
We conceptualised, designed and implemented a new TYPO3 website for EUROVIA Deutschland: with modern graphics and a transparent structure, user-friendly in the front and back end.

EUROVIA is one of the big players in the construction sector: in Germany, around 4,200 employees work at over 140 locations along the entire value chain, from raw material extraction and asphalt production to planning and construction. The internationally connected company not only realises infrastructure projects throughout Germany, but is also committed to creating the "infrastructure of the future", from building materials to smart city research.

Following the website relaunch designed and implemented by us, this is also reflected in a modern, responsive online presence: information on areas of work and working methods, innovative processes or regional and international networking can now be found just as easily as a target group-orientated job portal.

In an extensive analysis and conceptualisation phase with interdisciplinary workshops, we optimally prepared the relaunch in terms of user-friendliness, technology, content and design.

The results of the conceptual development included wireframes, which we created in close consultation with the client. They served as the basis for the graphic design. At the same time, the experts in our web unit created the technical concept, which they then implemented in the programming of the front and back end.

Special content elements were developed for editorial work. To make it easy for the editors responsible to update and add to the existing content, we have compiled all relevant content maintenance topics in a digital user guide and integrated them into the TYPO3 system as a separate page tree.

Thanks to an editorial training course, the EUROVIA editorial team will be able to fill the new website themselves in future: We have provided the EUROVIA editorial team with basic knowledge about content management and TYPO3 in a training course, in order to build on this and introduce them to the handling of their own editorial interface and the use of the various specific content elements. This will enable the editors to keep the new website up to date with the latest information in the future.
