From the laboratory into practice - precision appearance for cutting-edge research
Translational medicine - that is the flagship of the Berlin Institute of Health (BIH): findings from research flow directly into clinical research and practice and vice versa. The ultimate goal: user-oriented and personalised healthcare. The founding members Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin and the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine in the Helmholtz Association (MDC) focus on translational research and systems medicine, i.e. genetic, cell biological, physiological and visual data are collected from patients and their relationships with each other are analysed. This enables better prognoses to be made and new therapies to be developed - for a fundamental improvement in health.
TYPO3 - the digital health classic
Since September 2017, 3pc has been responsible for the support and continuous development of the website and existing partner websites. This includes, for example, the migration of existing partner websites to the TYPO3 CMS and the BIH site structure, as well as the development of separate microsites.
In the course of a relaunch process, the multi-page www.bihealth.org undergoes a continuous technical, conceptual and visual refresh in individual work packages. The challenge here is to present the technical system, which has grown over time, with its complex content structure and various links in a user-optimised and target group-oriented way.
Since spring 2019, 3pc has taken over a large part of the editorial and technical support and works closely with the various contact persons in the different areas of BIH.
