Concerts of excellent artistic quality, music education for all ages and outstanding international collaborations: The Dresden Philharmonic stands for all of this as an institution steeped in tradition. 3pc supported the institution in the reorganisation of its overall digital presence, both internally and externally.

More than just a concert
Whether it's a family concert, citizens' choir, orchestral and chamber music or an evening behind the scenes with the "Junge Klassiker" youth club: a programme that goes so far beyond Sunday concert attendance needs a digital stage that does it justice!
Since the early summer of 2022, the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra has therefore been presenting itself with a new, modern website: with a refreshed corporate design, richly illustrated and emotionally appealing despite its clarity.

Fresh complete package
The website is perhaps the most visible element of an overall strategy that encompasses all areas of public relations work. A newly defined marketing target image, including recommendations for corresponding activities, was developed in co-creative workshops. A refreshed aesthetic extends from flyers and posters to a completely reorganised social media strategy and the implementation of digital communication tools. And whether it was finding names for new series of events, designing image videos or the exemplary realisation of advertising materials for an anniversary, 3pc assisted the Philharmoniker in addressing new target groups beyond the "conservative" core audience in all areas.
Variability not only in the musical programme
The full range of what the Philharmonie has to offer is now apparent, and not just in the customised advertising for musical series or participatory offers for all ages: even at first glance, social media publications from the Kurt Masur Academy, for example, can be recognised. As an international orchestra academy, it is committed to promoting top young musicians and is closely networked with the "big" orchestra, but is still independent. This is reflected in the perfectly tailored look and feel of its media presence: based on the appearance of the Philharmonie, the Kurt Masur Academy uses social media templates that emphasise the independence of the young musicians thanks to variable colour schemes, but at the same time fit harmoniously into the overall communication of the academy.

Individualised paths for the curious
The great diversity of the tradition-steeped orchestra also opens up new paths for website visitors: a completely new portal structure in a mobile tile-like design now allows a wide range of content to be grasped at first glance. Intuitive to use, the teasers invite visitors to further discover the Dresden Philharmonic's excellent musical programme. Multimedia implementation and playful elements enable an individual user experience even beyond the already familiar areas. Those who wish can access programme excerpts as well as information, portraits and a view of the Philharmonie away from the concert programme on the screen - via video, podcast or further articles.

Clear the stage for the e-publisher:stage!
The CMS e-publisher:stage, developed by 3pc for the cultural sector, makes this easy and convenient. It allows editorial staff to use individual modules on the new site exactly as required: from the current programme to the management of artist biographies and offers from the family or school sector or the media library.

Editorial workflow at it's best
The integration of additional tools and platforms ensures a smooth day-to-day editorial process: event data, ticket status or the introduction of orchestra members are maintained centrally in the in-house planning tool. Additional information and multimedia content in e-publisher:stage can be added later as required, as can last-minute programme notes, images or files. It goes without saying that content can be advertised via the CMS's own newsletter tool or that music lovers can buy their tickets from the ticketing service provider Eventim with a click.
The result is a digital presence that can be seen in the constant dialogue from analysis and conception to final implementation: Fresh and lively in its external appearance, with an individual user experience as well as convenient editorial operation - an adaptable modular website that will continue to fulfil design and compatibility requirements in the future.
