Pioneering digital transformation - Swiss Family Leisure Portal

Together with Tamedia, the largest private media group in Switzerland, we have successfully completed another digital transformation - this time in Swiss German: schweizerfamilie.ch. For the relaunch, the 3pc family once again brought all their expertise into play, from conception and creation to content editing and perfectly performing implementation in TYPO3.
A media synthesis that is impressive
Schweizer Familie is the family magazine with the widest reach in Switzerland. With the schweizerfamilie.ch website, the Tamedia publishing house has added an important digital product to its portfolio. As a "navigator for an active leisure experience", the digital offering brings together everything that Switzerland has to offer: Nature to savour and recharge your batteries, culinary hikes through Swiss cuisine and a wealth of ideas for at home. Journalists are travelling throughout the country and researching the best leisure ideas.

"With the relaunch of the Swiss family, we have shown how analogue and digital can harmonise perfectly."
Tradition and innovation
Together with Tamedia, we developed and implemented a concept based on the core content of the traditional magazine that optimally utilises the strengths of digital and focuses on the service character.
The site invites you to explore and "be inspired", which is in line with the website's value proposition: "1,000 ideas for leisure time".
The best way to "wander" through a website - 3pc relies on Solr
A key strength of the new website, which is based on TYPO3, is the successful mix of database-driven search function and editorial content. We rely on the high-performance, quasi-intelligent Solr search, which opens up the content of the site extremely quickly and guarantees differentiated search results.

Leisure time everywhere
Of course, the schweizerfamilie.ch website is fully responsiveand offers the optimum content structure and presentation depending on the usage situation. The most important information is therefore always and everywhere in view.
