Transcription editor for the Erich Mendelsohn Archive
It is a milestone for digital archiving: the correspondence between the architect Erich Mendelsohn and his wife Louise is available globally for the first time in the online archive EMA - Erich Mendelsohn Archive. By realising the online archive, we have made an important contribution to this pioneering project. The letters were digitised and transcribed over many years of academic work. The latter was made possible by the edition tool Refine!Editor, which we programmed, thus creating an important prerequisite for the realisation of this ambitious project.
