Usability and mobility first - Berlin is becoming bike-friendly

Berlin is on its way to becoming a cycling capital: as a state-owned company, infraVelo is working together with the Senate Department for the Environment, Mobility, Consumer and Climate Protection and the districts to reorganise and expand the infrastructure for cycling in Berlin. As a subsidiary of Grün Berlin GmbH, infraVelo is driving forward the expansion of cycling infrastructure and thus the transport revolution. The young company offers technical, administrative and commercial expertise - whether for the construction of new cycle paths, their maintenance or the construction of new parking facilities.

The infraVelo website, which 3pc launched in 2019, is also fresh and green. It provides information on new, fast and safer cycle paths or the topic of bicycle parking for anyone who wants to switch to and get on a bike - up-to-date and citizen-centred. Since the successful launch of the website, 3pc has been continuously developing the digital presence conceptually, graphically and technically. Thanks to the customised project plugin, which is linked to the infraVelo database, all infrastructure measures are clearly displayed and always up-to-date. The centrepiece is the interactive project map, which shows all cycling projects in the state and the districts. The map was evaluated in a user-centred process and an optimised UX concept was designed and implemented.

In addition, 3pc advises infraVelo on digital communication and the interaction of digital channels, taking into account the latest developments and trends. For example, 3pc created templates for social media communication and supported the evaluation of digital communication measures in the form of an onsite survey.
