Sammlung Goetz

The Goetz Collection - from private collection to international art institution

Great things are created on a small scale - as is so often the case, it is thanks to the passion for collecting and art of a single person that the public has been given access to contemporary art: the Goetz Collection. With our new communication concept and the relaunch of the website, we have created an animated and moving tour through the collection and exhibition rooms.

Open, transparent, international

The Sammlung Goetz, opened in 1993 by Ingvild Goetz in Munich-Oberföhring as a private collection, is today an important, internationally recognised institution of contemporary art. Openness, transparency and internationality - these were the attributes on which we orientated ourselves.

Art brought to life digitally

Just as the Sammlung Goetz focuses on the new, open view of the visitors, we have extended the museum space into the virtual world and guarantee a high recognition value. The highlight teaser of the building puts the architectural masterpiece in the foreground and invites you to visit the sculpture garden and the exhibition rooms of the Sammlung Goetz.

We have created a virtual tour of the collection and exhibition rooms, which has a very special effect in digital form.

The Sammlung Goetz not only shows art, but also teaches it: visitors can find numerous educational programmes relating to the collection in our practical calendar.

Many TYPO3 functions, modules and templates make everyday editorial work much easier

TYPO3 - a masterpiece among content management systems

As for many of our customers in the culture and art sector, we also relied on the open source CMS TYPO3 for the Goetz Collection.

For example, publications and events are created once as data records and can be used and displayed flexibly in different places - efficiently and in a time-saving manner.

We bring dynamism to the digital space...

Various animations, such as the zoom function for images, create a personalised experience and bring dynamism to the digital space. Large images, picture galleries and videos give the impression of a virtual tour through the collection and exhibition rooms.

...and set new standards

With the relaunch, the website is now responsive, accessible and, thanks to the SEO training we conducted with editors from Sammlung Goetz, optimised for the search engine. In addition to content migration and content editing, we also provide technical support for the website.
