Few technology topics are currently as hotly debated as artificial intelligence (AI). Progress in the development of increasingly powerful systems is reported almost daily. At the forefront of this development are internet companies such as OpenAI, Google, Meta and Amazon, which use these technologies for text generation, intelligent searches, machine translation and voice control, for example.

But what does this progress mean for organisations that do not have AI technologies and the corresponding expertise? Can they also benefit from current developments? And if so, which AI is actually needed to better manage digital communication tasks?

3pc is addressing this issue. In past and current innovation projects, 3pc is developing advanced AI applications for an augmented user experience: the aim is to add intelligent functionalities to complex information offerings and thus make them more accessible for users in the frontend and backend. Our workshop is aimed at companies, institutions and organisations with a desire for more efficient data structures, workflows or AI-supported storytelling applications. For example:

Programme of the workshop

1 / Preliminary analysis and first meeting

The first preliminary meeting lasts approx. 45 minutes and aims to get to know the customer, understand the basic problem and identify initial potential solutions.

2 / Working meeting (workshop)

Together with the client, the use case is comprehensively specified in an eight-hour workshop and the innovation potential for the use of AI is determined. With the help of modern design thinking methods, the focus is placed on the needs of the users.
Furthermore, it is clarified which tasks can be automated and where AI processes can provide added value. An important focus is on reviewing the available digital content, sources and current work processes.
The results of the workshop are summarised in the form of minutes and made available to the client.

3 / Prototype (proof of value)

Based on the workshop, 3pc outlines the solution approach including the selection of the AI processes to be used, which are then tested for their functionality in the proof of value using a specific data set. The technical feasibility of the solution approach can be demonstrated through the prototypical implementation . This ensures that the selected AI process offers convincing solutions for the respective problem.
The implementation of the prototype following the proof takes place in a one-week sprint.

4 / Executive summary

The results of the proof of value are prepared and summarised by 3pc and made available to the client in an executive summary. In a joint meeting with the client, the results are analysed in terms of their added value.
The result of the proof of value is the basis on which the client can then make an informed decision about the comprehensive implementation of an AI solution.
